About The Project

The client

DentMe is the only Sweden-based dental clinic in Europe that operates under an innovative business model that offers patients a subscription for dental service care.

The idea

For a fixed monthly fee, DentMe members receive dental treatment, including preventive care, that makes it accessible to everyone, removing financial and administrative barriers.

The project's background

The DentMe team already had a web app built by another vendor but it didn’t meet business goals, specifically, in terms of conversions, prompting a search for a redesign partner.

Client's review

We saw a noticeable improvement in conversion rates after launch
“In terms of performance, we saw a noticeable improvement in conversion rates after launch, with more users completing bookings and engaging with key call-to-actions across the site.
Bounce rates decreased, session duration increased, and mobile usability scores improved across the board.”

Solution

It was crucial to ensure the final product was fully responsive, pixel-perfect across all devices, and optimized for lead generation. We also contributed to DentMe’s investor communications, so that the team could showcase their scaling vision with the new website.

UX/UI Audit

Man
The project started with a full UX/UI audit of the existing platform, led by a chief design officer and business analyst. The current design, delivered by the previous partner, lacked consistency and dynamic.
Mismatched color tones
Contrast issues
Non-compliance with accessibility
Unclear UX of the sales funnel

These gaps hurt conversions, as users didn’t clearly understand the product offering. We thoroughly documented the issues, helping the client recognize the need to invest in a full redesign.

Redesign process

User interface (UI)

The DentMe team aimed to break away from the traditional dental clinic image: no white coats, no sterile visuals, no pay-per-service approach – and SolveIt’s job was to reflect this vision in every artifact. Along the way, we faced a few key constraints.
Templates-free start
The DentMe website had to challenge the usual look and feel of dental platforms. Without an existing benchmark for a modern, subscription-based service, we gathered unique references to shape a fresh, innovative concept.

Existing brand identity
We had to stay within DentMe’s established visual language, which was already reflected across print materials and other brand assets. This limited our creative freedom but ensured consistency across all channels.

Tight deadlines
The clinic had already opened and received over 1000 applications, but the website didn’t meet stakeholder expectations. We had to quickly finalize the design and deliver a fully developed solution under strict timelines.

User experience (UX)

The UX redesign focused on creating a clear customer journey, fixing usability issues, and building a flow that aligned with DentMe’s bold concept: clean, cutting-edge design with a strong focus on messaging.

Rethink the structure
The home page became the central focus: it had to sell the product, communicate the unique value of the subscription model, and build trust. We emphasized clear copy and text blocks, emotional triggers, and social proof.
Create a prototype
A key part of the process was developing an interactive prototype to visualize the user flow. This allowed us to test and iterate the user journey before the final build, ensuring the website’s flow was intuitive and easy to navigate.
Implement animations
Motion elements were essential and were one of the client's requirements. Smooth transitions, hover effects, microinteractions on scroll – all to create a modern, engaging experience that kept users encouraged to explore more.

PROMO & APIs

Social media pixels

To help the marketing team optimize ad campaigns and track user behavior more precisely, we integrated Facebook and TikTok pixels into the website. This allowed for better retargeting and performance analytics.

Analytics and heatmaps

We implemented Google Tag Manager and set up Hotjar to collect heatmaps, scroll maps, and session recordings. This gave DentMe insights into a customer journey map and helped inform ongoing optimization strategies.

Payments and SEO

We connected the website with DentMe’s existing backend for payment processing and account management. Additionally, we ensured the new website was fully SEO-optimized from the start, improving visibility and helping the business attract organic traffic.
